2012- the end of the world, or, at least, some people think. Every decade people think of a year, a year were the world will be destroyed, like the year 2000, people thought a lot of things would happen, and they waited and waited and on the first of january 2000 at 12:00, nothing happened.
This time it's 2012. Is this one just a stupid rumour? People think the world will flood, aliens will come, the moon will be destroyed, a mars appocolipse, swine flu, the stars will go out and people even think the universe will implode. They even made a film about it! Obviously, this is a load of rubbish.
But 2012 is the titanic's 100th aniversary. Paranormal investigators belive that someone will use telekinetic energy to sink all the ships on 15 April 2012. This 'someone' is no friend. Or is he?
This is a story kept a secret for years, my grandfather's brother told me.
In 1898, a boy, edward, was born. When he was 3 years old, his older brother, Ryley, cut a worm in half and Edward didn't like it. He ran to his parents screeming, he held the worm in his hand and showed it to his parents, his parents said the worm could live like that and would be fine but Edward didn't trust his reasuring parents, instead he lay the worm out in the sun and imagined it whole again, he imagined the two halves joining up again, he thought and he cried and he held the two peices together he put his finger were they would join together, he imagined the worm as a whole creature again. He took his finger off, and smiled, the worm was a whole again! 'How?' he thought to himself. He then put the worm in a flower bed and ran off to tell his parents. When he was 7 he new he was special, he had given a cat her tail back after it was jamed in the door, joined his pen back together when he snapped it at school and most inportantly, he had descovered he could use psychokinesis also known as telekinesis, he could move an object using only his mind. In 1912, his parent's planed to take him to America were they could use him to make some money. He was one of the unfortunate 2200 people that were lost on the titanic. His parents survived, his mother saw a hallucination of her son, but 1 hour after explaining it to her husband, she unexpectedly died, the investigators couldn't find a reason for her death so the husband was blamed and put into prison, in 1930 he was released and made to join the army but before he started his training he saw his son, just like his wife did before she died, he explained it to his friend, my grandfather, he explained who his son had been and 1 hour after, he died. My grandfather died in the war but he told his family the story in a letter.
And this is how i know of this. My grandfathers brother told me that he saw him, he saw Edward. He told him something, his words were, 'What happened to the titanic in 1912 was serious, and still children make jokes, even the wise adults say, "it doesn't matter beause it was a very long time ago," this is a cruel world and soon I will seek my avengence. Soon everyone will understand.' My great uncle is no crazy old fool. He is a wise caring old man. He wouldn't make this up. He has told some paranormal investigators about it and they have noticed something. They predict it will happen on the 100th aniversary.
This is why i said he wasn't a friend, this is also why i said, 'or is he?' We need to realise the importance of the situation, we need to realise what happened. If we don't all get our act together soon, this could happen. The scientists predict that Edward will use his psychokinetic powers to sink all the ships. We don't want that to happen.
